Michael PA5M was in Nepal for his work for the UN WFP. He arrived on the 19th of November and left the country on the 8th of December. He was able to arrange his callsign on the 22nd(monday ) and got the callsign 9N7M. The licence was just for 30m and 6m. Just because of he limited operation time he applied for a 2 bands licence as it's VERY expensive to ask for more bands ( 4 band would mean a double price....6 bands 3 times the price ).
He was using his FT857 and a long wire antenna for HF of a dipole for 6m and made just a few hundred qso's because of limited operation time and BIG noise and QRM on the bands in Nepal.

If you want your qso confirmed, pse read the QSL rules and please do take some time to sign the guestbook. Off course there will be a nice qsl card for you collection if you want. ( and have made at least one qso )
