Michael PA5M, on a new trip for the WPF of the UN was in Niamey, Niger Africa for a short period of just 2 weeks. Het did get his licence on the 18th of august and left the country heading for Mali on the 27th of August after just 8 day's of radio activity in spare time. His callsign in Niger , 5U7DX

As Michael was in Niger for a very short time he had very limited operating time, but still he amde almost 1000 qso's during the evenings using his Ft857 with 100W into a long wire antenna this time.

Michael has been on a remote location for 4 days some 800km by car from Niamey. He did bring his radio and antenna and off course a digital camera. Some nice photo's were the result.
